For a Fantastic Year 2012!
I am taking the liberty of seeing my last find of 2011 as a very good omen for the coming year.
Forget about the Mayan Calendar. Forget also about solar flares and all the other stories about the impending end of the world. Above all, ignore the crisis, the so-called "current climate"!
Rainer Maria Rilke wrote, " Everyone creates the world through their birth, as everybody is the world." We are the creators of our reality.
Allow yourselves the freedom to counter the general mood of gloom and doom with a spirit of new beginnings!
A very happy, prosperous, healthy and successful year for all of us, for mankind and the earth we live on.

Was für ein Glückspilz ich doch bin!
Die letzten Tage waren superb! Hutschenreuther und Kreutz, eine riesige Vase von ZBS, wohl von Klinger, hübsche Keremik-Eierbecher und wunderschöne Becher von Dümler & Breiden. Dazu ein hervorragender Druck von 1972. Suuuper!

Welcome to my little studio of ceramics and glass! This site was originally designed to document, archive and show my personal collection, and evolved into a shop in 2008.
Having grown up in Germany in the Seventies I have a tendency to go for items from that period, but I also collect vases from the Fifities and Sixties, and from time to time also pieces from the first half of the 20th century. In fact anything vintage that appeals to me will appear in my virtual living room, so do come in and have a look!
